Kraft paper postcards are printed on 100% recycled kraft cardstock with visible natural fibres and a distinctive textured appearance. The warm kraft surface gives printed postcards a handcrafted, organic look that works especially well with bold, simple artwork.
Because the paper itself is darker than white card stock, colours will reproduce differently on kraft. High-contrast designs with darker colours are recommended for the strongest results.
Artwork Note: White ink is not printed on kraft stock. Only CMYK inks will be printed. Full-colour photographs and lighter artwork are not recommended because colours will appear darker on the kraft paper. Bold, high-contrast designs with fewer colours are best suited to this stock.
18pt Kraft Board
These postcards are produced on 18pt kraft board made from 100% recycled paper. The natural fibres and kraft colour give the stock its distinctive appearance and texture.
Printing on Kraft Paper
CMYK printing is applied directly to the kraft surface. Because the stock is naturally darker than white paper, printed colours will appear darker and more subdued. Dark colours and high-contrast artwork generally provide the strongest visual results.
