Folding Options
Available folding configurations are illustrated below. Artwork should be prepared to match the appropriate folding template.
Scoring & Folding
Scoring is highly recommended with a selected fold type to help minimize cracking along the folds.
Whenever paper is folded, some cracking can occur along the fold line. This can be more noticeable on UV-coated brochures, particularly in areas with heavy or dark ink coverage. Paper grain direction cannot be guaranteed.
Selecting scoring where available can help reduce visible cracking and produce a cleaner fold.
Artwork must match the selected folding template. Fold, cut and bleed lines should be followed when preparing the print-ready artwork to avoid production delays or an incorrectly folded finished brochure.
